The lakes of the Orient Forest

The Forêt d'Orient Natural Park is one of the region's tourist treasures, and for good reason: over nearly 70,000 hectares, forests, fields, hillsides... and lakes are mixed together! The lakes of the Forêt d'Orient: these are 5,000 hectares, spread over three different lakes, which are the pride of Aube!

This very beautiful city charms its visitors wishing to visit the historic capital of southern Champagne. Its historic center is distinguished by its champagne cork shape, a characteristic that Troyes owes to its ancient ramparts which once protected the city walls.

Born in Paris on July 18, 1928, Mihcèle Marinie became aware of her vocation from childhood when she came on vacation to Loches-sur-Ource with her grandmother, where she spent most of her time drawing.
